Celebrate Fourth of July in Severna Park

From pancake breakfasts, to concerts, to parades, Severna Park will be jam packed with Fourth of July excitement. Here’s a rundown of Thursday’s events:

Pancake Breakfast with Patriotic Concert

Time: Breakfast - 8 to 10 a.m.; Concert 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. 
Where: Severna Park Community Center 
Details: Bring your family by the Severna Park Community Center to enjoy an all-American breakfast and the Bay Winds Band playing Stars and Stripes Forever before the Severna Park Fourth of July Parade. Just $5 per adult and $3 per child for a pancake breakfast with all the fixins. 

July 4th Decorated Bike Contest

Time: 9 a.m. 
Where: Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, 1 Holly Ave.
Details: Children can decorate their bikes, tricycles and wagons and enter the parade as a group to ride to the end at Sunrise Assisted Living.

July 4th Parade and Festival

Time: 10 a.m. 
Where: Through town, ends at Cypress Creek Park
Details: See local businesses and groups parade through town in the annual parade. 

Free Open Swim

Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
Where: Severna Park Community Center 
Details: The Severna Park Community Center's main pool will be free to use on the Fourth of July.
