Super Bowl Sunday Serves SPAN
On Sunday, the West Severna Park neighborhood scored 1,000 donations for Serving People Across Neighborhoods.
"On Super Bowl Sunday, West Severna Park donated more than 1,000 items of food to (SPAN).
"The neighborhood was divided into teams of Patriots and Giants and folks competed to get the most items! Neighbors who donated got a balloon placed outside their home to recognize the folks who gave to such a great cause.
"and sponsored the event. Neighborhood kids of all ages came out to help. Elementary and middle school children went door-to-door collecting items while the high school kids acted as runners to take heavy loads from helping hands."
