Featured Pet: Chico
The Maryland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue offers information about a pet that needs a new home each week.
Jennifer Haber, adoption coordinator for the Maryland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue (MAS), provided the following information to Severna Park Patch about this week's featured pet.
This little cutie is Chico, a 1 1/2-year-old male chihuahua who weighs 8 pounds and came to the SPCA as a lost dog a few weeks ago, so there is not a lot of information about him. His intake exam showed everything is normal. He was a little nervous given his life as a stray, but he is settling in quite well to his foster home with his foster cat, dog and human siblings.
He's a very sweet little guy, a definite lap dog that just needs a wonderful home where he can be a cherished member of a loving family! He is neutered, vaccinated, and heart worm negative.
