In an effort to raise funds during a time of need for the Green Hornets Athletic Association’s Jim McCandless Family Fund, Severna Park-based Rodz n Rydz, along with special assistance from Shooting Star Productions, will sponsor and support a fundraising event at their restaurant on Saturday, March 24 from 1:00-5:00pm.
This fund will help support the McCandless family with much needed day-to-day living expenses and will be administered by the Green Hornets organization.
The menu will include a pig roast with potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and draft beer. There will also be live music along with a silent auction and 50-50 raffle.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds will go directly to the McCandless Family Fund.
“We are fully supporting this event and Rodz n Rydz is happy to do its part to help support the McCandless family with this special fund,” said Troy Bryant, owner of Rodz and Rydz.
