Fabu' Opens to a Welcoming Crowd

Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting on Friday brings in well-wishers to new salon.

Small businesses are sprouting up this spring in Severna Park, and  that means the G is busy with ribbon-cuttings, the most recent at in the Severna Park Village shopping Center on B&A Boulevard.

The full-service salon and spa officially opened on Friday with new owner Jean Marie Carroll busy as hostess to friends, family and members of the business community who came to formally welcome Jean Marie and her husband, Terry Carroll to the community. "There was more applause at this one than at any other ribbon-cutting," said Linda Zahn, CEO of the chamber.

Carroll is the former owner of the Aura salon off of West Benfield Road and brings with her a few former stylists to the new location.

The staff of 12 "and growing everyday" includes stylists, a manicurist an esthetician and a massage therapist.
