The biggest fundraiser of the year for Partners in Care brought in a steady stream of visitors on Friday. The sale continues at the Partners boutique on Saturday.

If you missed the jewelry sale on Friday, you have another chance today (Saturday), the second day of the9th Annual Jewelry Extravaganza being held at the Partners office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 6 South Ritchie Highway, on the corner of East/West Boulevard and Rt. 2 South, in Pasadena.

Extravaganza organizer Dawn Murphy was pleased with the progress of the Friday sale and noted they were busy replenishing stock. "People have been so kind," said Murphy, adding that donations are always being sought to help the nonprofit. The vendors at the shows are donating 25 percent of their proceeds to Partners In Care.

Paul Mintz of Arundel Antiques in Severna Park had a table display of vintage and costume jewelry and saw the event more as a networking opportunity to show-off some of his store's collection. More so, he said, his presence there was to support the fundraiser for Partners In Care, where he also volunteers.  "It's a great organization," he said.
