Last Call is Noon for Mail at Severna Park Post Office

After 40 years, the facility is moving. Saturday is the last day to send mail from the building on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

According to a post office employee on Friday who wanted to remain anonymous, the past month has been hectic for the staff as they prepare for the move to the Magothy Bridge facility. "We've been in this building for 40 years - there's a lot of stuff here to move."

The employee also said that there has been episodes of "whining" by the customers. "We are only moving two miles away," she said, adding that there was also plenty of notice given to the community. Patch did a story in December on the projected move.
