70th Anniversary of World War II Bull Roast and Dance

Sponsors are needed to help veterans attend this event at the Earleigh Heights Fire Hall in September.

The Limestone Post #72 of the 29th Division Association is hosting a tribute to World War II veterans by having a 70th World War II Anniversary (1941-2011) Bull Roast and Dance on Sept. 17 when the  Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Hall on the corner of Magothy Bridge Road and Ritchie Highway in Severna Park will be transformed into a 1940s USO canteen complete with a live Big Band orchestra.

All World War II veterans are invited and the event is free.

"Over one thousand of 'America’s Greatest Generation' are dying every day.  By the end of this decade very few will still be with us. We must never forget what these men and women sacrificed for our country and this is our way to say “thank you for your service,” said Robert E. Wisch, commander of the Limestone Post #72.
