Arriving in a stretch limousine with her family, Muriel Lynn Walters, 16, was dressed in her graduation gown Monday afternoon.
The Severna Park High School student, who has bone cancer, was honored with a special commencement ceremony at Severna Park United Methodist Church.
More than 80 people attended the event, which included remarks and music. Walters concluded by tossing her cap into the air.
