Loyd Spence created Raise The Bar, LLC to offer “Life & Sports Imagery” to customers that want to capture and preserve their snapshots in time in various forms: photos, illustrations, T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, posters, etc.

Loyd competed in the pole vault and decathlon while in high school and college. Raising the bar was always the goal: jump higher, run faster, and throw farther!

I enjoy the challenge of sports photography because you can't stop the action and ask the players to pose differently or reposition them for a better shot. The "shots" are numerous, yet occur uniquely once.

I enjoy using photo images as a base and creating images from the basic photos. For example, effects like water color, cartoon, or line drawing.
