Our family moved to Severna Park in early 1991.  Both my husband and I grew up boating on the Long Island Sound in a Connecticut coastal community and we wanted to provide our two children the same water oriented lifestyle that we had enjoyed.  After focusing primarily on raising my children in their early elementary years, I returned to my career and began working for Chesapeake Bay Magazine as an advertising sales representative.  After ten years working at the magazine, I became fascinated with real estate and made the decision to become a Realtor in 2007 just after the real estate market began its significant decline.  It has been a long five years of an extremely challenging real estate market, but we are starting to see very encouraging signs that the Severna Park real estate market is finally headed in a positive direction.
