ReplyThere's a crepe food truck parked at the Shell Station on Shady Grove Rd. by the bowling alley and Red Lobster, next to Home Depot. Their crepes are wonderful and they are so friendly!

And remember that the state is strongly considering letting our illustrious Metro run the CCT. The CCT is already poorly conceived -- let's add incompetent WMATA management (using the term loosely) to the mix to make it truly useless!

Yes, of course you are supposed to clean up after your dog. If you don't happen to see it, believe me another owner will let you know! It's a good idea to keep your eye on your dog in the park anyway, to nip in the bud any personality conflicts between the dogs, and to make sure your dog is behaving. Yes, all the dogs run in the same area where they poop. That's why the owner is responsible for cleaning it up.

ReplyI'm trying to think of some other company or industry that tries to get the consumer to pay for the improvements, repairs, and upgrades the company should have been doing all along.
PEPCO reminds me of a little kid whining about how hard it is to do homework and keep up in class.

ReplyActually, I dislike Chipotle, so not "everyone" loves them. Their vegetarian selections mainly consist of beans and rice.
California Tortilla, Baja Fresh, and Qdoba have much more variety in their vegetarian offerings.
Sadly, California Tortilla uses lettuce that has preservatives on them, and I can really taste that. But if you order your meal with spinach instead of lettuce, you don't get the preservative taste.

ReplyI vacuum mine up and then cover the hose with a piece of duct tape. I learned to do the duct tape trick after a parade of dog hair covered stink bugs came marching back out of the vacuum. It really was kind of funny.
They don't smell that bad, but if you squish 'em, use something that will catch the gunk that spurts out of them when you squish.
To my nose, they smell like cilantro.

We have a compost pile outside and a worm composting bin in our house. It's astonishing how little trash we have now. Not even a bag a week!
