Top 5: Chick-fil-A Progress, School Emergency Drills

This week Patch provided an update on the old KFC on Ritchie Highway and reported on an award-winning local eye doctor.

SPHS to Undergo Emergency Drill Tuesday Students at Severna Park High School executed an emergency drill on Tuesday that dealt with an armed and dangerous intruder in the building. However, the drill is was unrelated to the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School last week. 2. KFC Update: Chick-fil-A Expanding Leelyn Drive Chick-fil-A has signed the lease to take over the old KFC on Ritchie Highway and now has to improve the condition of Leelyn Drive. Looking for the perfect gift for someone on your shopping list this holiday season? Patch can help. For the past few weeks, Severna Park Patch has been visiting local shops and business to find out what items they are offering to holiday shoppers looking to save, spend or splurge on gifts. Today’s gift ideas come from Treasures, at 652 Ritchie Highway #B. Located in Park Plaza, Treasures features a wide variety of items donated form area residents. Proceeds from Treasures benefit Hospice of the Chesapeake and the store is staffed by volunteers with the exception of manager Donna Richardson.
