Athletic training facility Gains Olympic Edge
Two-time Olympic medalist Bernard Williams joins the team at Athletic Performance Inc. to help area student-athletes train to win.
Bernard Williams almost reverently points to a few of his past coaches who not only made the difference for him on his road to winning Olympic gold, but who continue to have an impact on his life. Now, a coach himself in Millersville at Athletic Performance Inc., Williams said he can only hope to play such a role himself for area youths. "I've always wanted to train with kids," he said on a recent morning at API's training facility at 1029 Benfield Blvd. And after a quick interview with API founder and President Stephen Vaught, Williams, originally from Baltimore, he said he knew he found the right place to pursue the next stage of his athletic career. My son loves API, Coach Williams and all of the coaches at API. He has been training there for a couple of years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about the facility and staff. Coach Williams is a stellar addition to an already wonderful staff. more ›
