The Severna Park Green Hornets will host tryouts for its 13-year-old select baseball teams this weekend, according to The Capital Gazette. Tryouts will take place from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday and 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at Kinder Farm Park. According to The Green Hornets website, the select team is an opportunity for kids who are looking to play baseball at an advanced level. The number of games in a season vary between 40-70 games, depending on the coach. Those who play on the select team should be prepared to travel.
