Severna Park Man Injured in Eastport Shooting
Police said two men were shot, one in the back and one in the head, in the Eastport Terrace neighborhood of Annapolis late Sunday evening.
Two people, including a Severna Park man, were shot in Eastport late Sunday night, according to the Annapolis Police Department. The shooting incident also damaged a gas meter, resulting in a natural gas leak. Police responded to the Eastport Terrace neighborhood of Annapolis at 11:38 p.m. Sunday and emergency personnel discovered a 27-year-old Severna Park man on President Street with a gunshot wound to his back. A 22-year-old Annapolis man with gunshot wounds to his head, back and buttocks also was found on Medgar Evars Street. The 27-year-old was driven by ambulance to Prince George's County Shock Trauma Center and was released after treatment this morning, according to a police press release.
