Police: Armed Man Robs 7-Eleven in Severna Park

The investigation is ongoing and the suspect was not located by police.

Police responded early Tuesday morning to a report of a robbery at the 7-Eleven store located in the 400 block of Jumpers Hole Road. According to a release from Anne Arundel County police, the store clerk said a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money just after 3 a.m. Tuesday. The clerk told police he complied with the man's demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The man reportedly fled towards Jumpers Hole Road and several officers and a K-9 unit canvassed the area, but were unable to locate him. The investigation is ongoing.
