SPCC Will Offer Multiple Parent's Night Out

Kids can enjoy a day of supervised entertainment at the Severna Park Community Center while parents work or do some holiday shopping.

Are you looking to get some holiday shopping done on Black Friday but don’t want to drag your kids along with you? The Severna Park Community Center (SPCC) can help. Beginning Friday the community center will offer a Parent’s Night (or day) Out. You can drop your kids off for a few hours of supervised entertainment while you run some holiday errands. “We have been talking about looking into additional programs that would be a support to the community,” SPCC director Jennie Boden said. “We talked about whether or not we could do parents night out and decided it was something we could do since we had great resources to put together.” For $25 for your first child, and an additional $20 for each sibling, you can drop your kids off at the SPCC …
