Update: Route 2 Reopened After Tractor Trailer Accident

Route 2 at Route 10 in Pasadena closed for over five hours after a tractor trailer detached and leaked fuel on the road Tuesday afternoon.

UPDATE (9:05 p.m.)—Route 2 at Route 10 in Pasadena is now reopened to all traffic, according to Anne Arundel County Police. UPDATE (4:36 p.m.)—A tractor trailer leaked 8,500 gallons of fuel onto maryland Route 2 (Ritchie Highway) near Maryland Route 10 on Tuesday afternoon, forcing road closure in both directions, according to an Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman.
