All Aboard the Tiny Trains!

The Severna Park Model Railroad Club hosts open house, one of two offered to public each year.

Toy and model trains are a big part of holiday decoration and tradition. They are put up in homes, restaurants and other organizations this time of year to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. For members of the Severna Park Model Railroad Club, the love for these trains goes beyond holiday novelty and spills over into their everyday lives. Twice per year, the club opens its doors to the public so they too can experience the culmination of 43 years (and counting!) of meticulous dedication. The December open house is scheduled deliberately to coincide with seasonal festivities and to support the annual Holiday Tree Lighting event.
