The Severna Park girls basketball team will host Leonardtown this Friday. The boys team will travel to play Meade.
The Severna Park High basketball teams will begin play in the MPSSAA Class 4A playoffs this Friday. The girls team grabbed the seventh seed in the east region, and will host Leonardtown. The boys, seeded 10th, will travel to Meade. Nearly all local public school teams have qualified for the state tournament. Teams from Anne Arundel County will play in the Class 4A East Region, with the exception of Northeast and Annapolis who are Class 3A.
