During the event, The Big Bean donated 10 percent of its proceeds to MAS Rescue. “We just wanted to spread the word and showcase some of our animals. On Saturday morning you can enjoy coffee and a few furry friends at The Big Bean in Severna Park. From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, The Big Bean will host a “Meet, Greet & Treat,” on its patio with partial proceeds benefitting the Maryland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue (MAS Rescue). MAS Rescue is a small non-profit group that is dedicated to helping unwanted shelter animals whose time has run out. The group was founded in 2005. “We were invited by The Big Bean for the event," said MAS Rescue founder Mary Snyder. "We have a local presence in the area because several of our volunteers live in Anne Arundel County."
