Jimmy John’s, the sandwich chain that specializes in being “freaky fast” will open in Severna Park on April 16. The store’s owner, Jerry Groves, lives in Pasadena and said he chose the Ritchie Highway spot in Severna Park because of the location and feel of the town. “I have lived in Pasadena my whole life and I know the Severna Park area well,” Groves said. “It’s a great area and I felt like the area needed a good sub shop.” Groves said Jimmy John’s is “freaky fast”—meaning that once you order, your handmade sub will be ready in less than 30 seconds. “Our slogan is subs so fast you’ll freak,” Groves said. The new sandwich shop is set to open in the first week of April.
The sandwich franchise Jimmy John's has a new location set to open in Severna Park in April, a store manager said. The new location of the sandwich shop will be between the Royal Farms and McDonald's on Ritchie Highway. The store is currently hiring assistant managers in advance of the store's opening. Store manager Jerry Groves told Patch that the franchise is set to open its doors in the first week of April. Ever had Jimmy John's before? There are two locations in Annapolis—one downtown, and one in Annapolis Towne Center. The shop specializes in super-fast service and its unique bread.
