The Green Drinks Annapolis event will be held Tuesday at Brian Boru in Severna Park.
Environmental enthusiasts can gather for drinks, food and networking at Brian Boru on Tuesday for Green Drinks Annapolis. Green Drinks Annapolis is a local group that hosts happy hour networking events for the environmentally minded. Sponsored by the Maryland Clean Energy Center, the May edition of Green Drinks Annapolis will be held at Brian Boru Restaurant & Pub in Severna Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brian Boru is a green restaurant and a perfect fit for the event. Annapolis Green is partnering with the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce for this month’s networking and happy hour event. The Holiday Trade Fair was held on Thursday at Earleigh Heights Fire Hall.
The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce held its annual Holiday Trade Fair on Thursday at Earleigh Heights Hall Rental and 45 local businesses and organizations were in attendance. "The point of the fair is to promote business and get our members out there," said Linda Zahn, head of the Chamber. "We like to publicize our businesses so they can network with each other and the community." Zahn said the Holiday Trade Fair has been an annual tradition for more years than she can remember. The Chamber previously hosted the event at other locations but found the most success at Earleigh Heights. "Hosting it at Earleigh Heights was a recipe for success," Zahn said.
