Congratulations to Vanessa Cranford, who was the first person to correctly guess the Severna Park business the doughnut came from—Donut Shack. It seems like there is a special day for just about everything these days and the doughnuts is no exception. National Donut Day is Friday and in honor of their big day, doughnut shops across the nation—including some in Anne Arundel County—will be handing out free doughnuts to customers. With many locations in the area, Dunkin' Donuts is on board with the holiday. For a free doughnut, you'll need to make a purchase. They say that they'll hand out one free doughnut of your choice "while supplies last." (Could Dunkin' Donuts ever really run out of doughnut?) Find your nearest store using their restaurant locator.
