Attempted Robbery at Severna Park Bank ATM

A woman reported she was assaulted while attempting to make a withdrawal outside of the M&T Bank on Tuesday night.

A 56-year-old woman was struck and knocked to the ground when attempting to make a withdrawal on Tuesday night at the M&T Bank on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Officers responded to the call at 9:12 p.m. when a woman reported she was attempting to make a withdrawal from an ATM machine when she was approached by two men. According to a police press release, she was struck and knocked to the ground by one of the suspects, who then attempted to complete her transaction, but was unsuccessful. Police reported that both men fled on foot in an unknown direction. Numerous officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate them. my friends and I saw the two men walk by us at Ritas around 9:30ish. We talked with the police and told them what we saw i hope they find them we knew they looked sketchy when they came walking throught the parking lot with their hoods up!   more ›

Rash of Home Burglaries in Severna Park Area

Three homes were burglarized on Thursday afternoon in Severna Park and Pasadena and the incidents are under investigation, according to police.

Three homes were broken into on Thursday, two in Severna Park and one in Pasadena, according to police. Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said the burglaries occurred in the morning and early afternoon hours: The incidents remain under investigation. Patch will update this information when it becomes available.
