Molly Kabis, a senior lacrosse player at Chesapeake High School and Severna Park resident, recently won an award for her efforts in community service.
Patch visited Chesapeake High School to catch up with senior girls lacrosse defender Molly Kabis, who recently received an award for the work she does in Riverdale Forest, her community located in Severna Park. Pasadena Patch: Tell us a little bit about the award you recently received. Molly Kabis: Every year at Christmastime, a couple of kids in my neighborhood and I get together and collect clothes and food to donate to this huge program called Take Back Our Streets, which donates things to underprivileged families in Anne Arundel County. We have been doing it for six or seven years and donate like three trucks full of stuff.
