Centenarian Celebrates Birthday at FutureCare

Isabel "Izzy" Ruth Rodgers Eckardt recently became FutureCare Chesapeake's newest centenarian. Eckardt, a former resident of Severna Park, celebrated her 100th birthday party at FutureCare in Arnold with friends and family. She has been a resident there since 2007. She also received two proclamations, one from Gov. Martin O'Malley, and one from Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates Michael Busch. FutureCare Chesapeake issued the following release commemorating Eckhardt's birthday: Isabel Ruth Rodgers is the daughter of the late Walter C. and Mary [Lowry] Rodgers, and the youngest of 10 children.
