Boys Basketball: Broadneck Sneaks Past Severna Park

The Severna Park High boys basketball team fell to Broadneck 51-46 Tuesday afternoon.

Despite a very closely contested game in which no team led by more than six points, the Severna Park High boys basketball team fell to rival Broadneck 51-46 Tuesday afternoon in Annapolis.  The game was back and forth for much of the contest. Broadneck executed a high-pressure press, which the Falcons easily handled. And Severna Park tried to take advantage of a height advantage inside. “We have handled pressure pretty well all year—both zone and man,” said Falcon head coach Paul Pellicani. “That has been one of our consistent points this year.” The Falcons were led in the first half by a strong offensive outing from Taylor Kitamiller and took a one-point half time lead 21-20.
