SP Ravens Nest Makes Donation to SPCA

The Ravens Nest 10 donated $3,000 to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

For the second year in a row the SPCA of Anne Arundel County received a generous donation from Severna Park’s Ravens Nest 10. The Ravens crew that meets at Bill Bateman’s in Severna Park donated $3,000 to the SPCA Wednesday night. Last year the group donated $2,000. “We were pleasantly surprised to receive another donation," said SPCA event coordinator Mindy Nelson. “It’s an honor to be one of their charities and we so appreciate their generosity.” Nelson said each year the Ravens Nest chooses five different charities to support. The SPCA has been nominated two years in a row. The money goes towards medical care for the animals, supplies and shelter. “The money allows us to take care of the 100 plus animals that are at our shelter at any …

A 6:30 p.m. kickoff time for Sunday’s AFC Championship game featuring the Baltimore Ravens coincides nicely with dinnertime. Whether you are looking to head out for the game, or stay in and catch the action, Patch has you covered when it comes to what to eat. Patch presents a special Five Things You Need To Know this week in honor of the Ravens.

In honor of the Ravens 2012 season kickoff on Monday Night Football, I thought I would offer a special edition of the weekly Five Things You Need To Know that is all about the purple and black. The Ravens will take on the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night at 7 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.  1.
