The Ravens Nest 10 donated $3,000 to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
For the second year in a row the SPCA of Anne Arundel County received a generous donation from Severna Park’s Ravens Nest 10. The Ravens crew that meets at Bill Bateman’s in Severna Park donated $3,000 to the SPCA Wednesday night. Last year the group donated $2,000. “We were pleasantly surprised to receive another donation," said SPCA event coordinator Mindy Nelson. “It’s an honor to be one of their charities and we so appreciate their generosity.” Nelson said each year the Ravens Nest chooses five different charities to support. The SPCA has been nominated two years in a row. In honor of the Ravens 2012 season kickoff on Monday Night Football, I thought I would offer a special edition of the weekly Five Things You Need To Know that is all about the purple and black. The Ravens will take on the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night at 7 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. 1.
