Anne Arundel County police are advising there may be traffic delays in Severna Park on Thursday due to the viewing service for Lance Cpl. William Taylor Wild IV. Delays may occur on Ritchie Highway (Route 2) northbound near Robinson Road from 2 to 8 p.m., police said. Wild’s viewing will be held at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be uniformed police officers present to assist with traffic control and direction in the area of the funeral home. Funeral services for Wild will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church in Annapolis with a reception to follow at the Whitehurst Community Clubhouse in Severna Park. Raymond J. Kendzior Sr., a resident of Severna Park, died on Dec. 25.
The following is from Barranco and Sons Funeral Home. Raymond J. Kendzior Sr., a resident of Severna Park, died on Dec. 25. He was raised in Plains, PA. Raymond worked as a construction administrator for BG&E and Constellation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Raymond was devoted to his family. He enjoyed outdoor activities and sports. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary M. Kendzior of Severna Park; one son, Raymond J. Kendzior Jr.; one sister, Tina Halecki; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his other sister, Teresa Seravage. All services will be private. She was born on April 15, 1930, in Conneaut, Ohio, to Ralph Herbert and Marjorie Abbott Stone. She attended Oberlin College where she earned a Bachelor of Music and Ohio State University where she earned a Master of Music. Marjorie was Organist-Choirmaster at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1968-1988 and at Severna Park United Methodist Church from 1988-1998. She taught music in Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 1966-1988, most recently at Severna Park and Glen Burnie High Schools.
