How well do you know Severna Park restaurants?
Last week's Guess the Restaurant featured a chicken salad sandwich. Congratulations to Scott Muessig who was the first person to correctly guess the Severna Park business the sandwich came from—Atlanta Bread. This week, can you guess which Severna Park business this cup of coffee came from? Leave a comment to tell me where, and the first person to get it right wins … bragging rights. Exciting, I know. I will post the answer and the winner at the top of the next week’s column. Happy guessing! Editor's Note: Do you enjoy the Guess the Restaurant feature? Follow Severna Park Patch on Twitter for tips on the answer each week.

The Severna Park bakery and cafe added its new signage on Wednesday to complete the recent remodeling.
Patch reported on Wednesday that a new sign was being installed at the Atlanta Bread Co. in Severna Park. Later in the afternoon, I stopped by to take a gander and lo and behold, a new sign with its updated logo now graces the newly remodeled location. Manager Jennifer Lasher said this addition completes the cafe's remodeling project that began late last summer.

Patch spotted this crane at work early Wednesday morning in Severna Park taking down the Atlanta Bread Co. sign.
There was a bit of a commotion in the parking lot of Atlanta Bread Co. early Wednesday morning as a worker on a tall crane removed the signage for the popular eatery. Watching the activity for a few minutes, a passerby stopped in her car and asked me: "Where is the Atlanta Bread Co.?" I pointed to the crane and assured her that it was still open as customers were walking in the door. "We are finishing up the new look since the remodel and adding the bread man to the logo," said Jennifer Lasher, manager of the Severna Park location. The eatery closed abruptly back in late May 2011 disappointing many local customers and re-opened under corporate management in August. Stay tuned to Patch for the big "reveal" of the new logo.

The bakery cafe welcomed customers back after temporarily closing in late May.
The Atlanta Bread Company was fully staffed and ready to please its clientele when they reopened their doors on Wednesday morning. Considered a "soft opening" by newly hired General Manager Jennifer Lasher, the restaurant was bustling with a lunch crowd that filled many of the inside tables and booths. The patio area, shared with neighbor Chipotle Mexican Grill, was at seating capacity as customers of both restaurants enjoyed eating outdoors while enjoying the sunny weather, expected to continue throughout the week. Lasher said the official grand opening of the restaurant will be in about a month, in the meantime, her plan is to continue to work out the kinks that came with the launch on Wednesday. The popular bakery cafe is preparing for grand reopening under corporate ownership.
UPDATE: "We are thrilled to begin serving the community again...," wrote Catherine Kearns of Atlanta Bread Company, noting that there will be plenty of free samples at the Aug. 17 opening. Original story: A Patch reader sent in this tip: "There are signs posted at the Atlanta Bread that they are reopening and hiring." Severna Park Patch put a call into Atlanta Bread Company corporate headquarters, located in Atlanta, GA, to confirm. And yes, it's true—the bakery cafe will be reopening under corporate ownership in August. Previously, the store was operated as a franchise. There is a crew at the Severna Park location now working on the restaurant with a target opening date of Aug. 17. "We are adding new and exciting things including an …
