Medics Transport Man from Adam’s Ribs

A spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the man had a medical emergency.

A man was transported by ambulance from Adam’s Ribs to the hospital Thursday afternoon for a medical emergency, according to an Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman. A few Severna Park Patch readers asked why an ambulance and fire truck was parked outside Adam’s Ribs on Thursday afternoon. Battalion Chief Matthew Tobia said fire officials responded to the restaurant at 12:34 p.m. to assist a man with a medical emergency. Tobia said the man was transported priority one to a local hospital. Tobia did not know the condition of the man at the time of the call.

Guess the Restaurant

GUESS THE RESTAURANT: Pink Doughnut

How well do you know Severna Park restaurants?

Last week's Guess the Restaurant featured a BBQ sandwich. Congratulations to James who was the first person to correctly guess the Severna Park business the sandwich came from—Adam's Ribs. This week, can you guess which Severna Park restaurant this pink doughnut came from? Leave a comment to tell me where, and the first person to get it right wins … bragging rights. Exciting, I know. I will post the answer and the winner at the top of the next week’s column. Happy guessing!

The steel drum band is the only one of its kind in the Anne Arundel County school system. Joe Lefavor, owner of Adam's Ribs North, was busy chatting …

The Old Mill Steel Band is simply fantastic! I've hired them for a couple of events and would highly recommend them. They're talented and they're local students. Kudos to Joe Lefavor for helping them raise money to offset their expenses!   more ›
