I remember a case in Canada years ago. A very nice looking couple got married (young) and killed oneRead More of her siblings...and didn't stop there. I believe they were called Barbie and Ken by the media. They might have been beautiful on the outside, but they had a very dark inside.

Michael - the "progeny" vs. "prodigy" was an example that I was using for theRead More whole board here (or any other board). No, your post was fine and obviously I didn't misunderstand you. I was aiming that more at a lot of folks whom I truly can't understand. You just happened to be lucky enough to misuse a word and then accuse people of not comprehending what they're reading. As far as labelling me/us as woman-haters, again that was aimed at a few other people. And actually, if I am a troll, I just troll for the opportunity to rip on people for using sweeping generalities.

You cannot offer education to any person who has not had the foundation of paternal guidanceRead More beginning at birth. The maturation of the human entity revolves around initial care as an infant which means communication both oral and by tactile sensation. NURSING an infant is one of the MOST importatnt things that may be offered as a beginning point. Any amount of the process is good, but continuing for the better part of a year is best. TALKING to the infant is also paramount in awakening the receptiveness of the brain as the eyes develop and begin to truly see. Show and demonstrate any and all things. And continue through the pre-teen years. When ANY child is prepared in these ways he or she will be READY to begin secondary schooling and on into the college level and become a resposible, productive AMERICAN. Do as I did. Finish high school. Go to college & get a degree (I paid for myself). Be RESPONSIBLE for yourself. AND Be a GOOD PARENT.. PEPARE your child. THAT is YOUR JOB!!! And THANKS to my parents!!! Everyday Mathematics is just one of the programs that makes a heck of a lot of $ off of the millions of textbooks sold to schools that teach to the 'Core.' The Common Core isn't just restricting for teachers & students, it's lining people's pockets.

From the WEAC (Wisconsin teachers union) website:Read More :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Common myths, such as “No teachers were involved in writing the CCSS” and “Common core reduces the reading of fiction and literature” are simply incorrect. More than a dozen teachers were on the writing team for the Common Core State Standards, coordinated by the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers. In Wisconsin, standards leadership teams, made up entirely of Wisconsin educators and content experts in mathematics and English-language arts, provided feedback to multiple drafts of the Common Core State Standards before they were released." :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: http://www.weac.org/news_and_publications/13-10-23/DPI_provides_fact_check_on_Common_Core.aspx

From the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website:Read More ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Myth: No teachers were involved in writing the CCSS. They have no proof of that but they like to say it as if it validates Common Core.." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: We say stuff like that because anti-CC people are making wildly inaccurate claims about "Common Core Math" and CC 'requiring students to not use traditional methods for multiplication and division', and the like. FOR THOSE WHO LIKE AMAZON PRIME OVER NETFLIX: Here's an interesting article from today (23 Apr 2014)Read More about how Amazon Prime just got HBO to stream at least some of its older content, plus "HBO GO," to Amazon's new Fire TV box, thereby making NetFlix upset because NetFlix (nor any other streaming service, including HULU) has never been able to get any HBO content; and so Amazon has scored a real coup! These girls are abusers and sex offenders of a boy that is not capable of making any decisons forRead More himself. They belong in prision for many years for what they did. How do people become so depraved and indifferent to others?
Carol April 24, 2014 at 11:39 am
Mrs. G, you make a good point about kids being with others more like them, however as a step parentRead More to a schizophrenic/bipolar child, they never have insight into their own mental illness or illness and do not want to mingle with those who are like them. It's a very hard thing to manage. The girls who committed these crimes against this boy should spend years in prision and they need a good mental evaluation. They are depraved and lack any kind of empathy at all.

Sorry, Autistic boy, but there are a multitude of crimes here. These so called 'friends' abused youRead More terribly ~ called 'bullying', & that alone cannot be tolerated. On other comments on other papers many have this kid kicked out... Although allegedly he went afterRead More the driver nobody got hurt. He did the right thing and took a cab instead of driving. I didn't know it cost that much to drive to Arnold! Although Annapolis isnt a college town we do have a "college" in our town. These kids work ten times harder than the average college kid. So on the weekends they go into town and blow off some steam. Some locals are annoyed by the mids. Really? Let it go and have fun. I hope things get better for this kid. I hope it wakes up some that tip the scale on a regular basis. I wish people were more forgiving. He didn't hurt anyone and drank too much and took a cab.

Being a former enlisted man, I would hope the academy could weed out the future order givers, but IRead More can tell you it does not. Any midshipman who can't behave like a gentleman does not deserve to be an officer and a leader of men.

I agree with B. Dub 100%! How was this kid able to scale a fence and just walk right over to theRead More plane? TSA: for all the harassing you do in the terminal...you ain't all that!! As far as the kid being a runaway..maybe he does face some serious abuse issues at home. He's damn lucky to be alive. But, I raised three boys, and a 16 year old boy can runaway for any collage of reasons. My kids never ran away but, I'm wondering if the fact that the plane was going to HAWAII has anything to do with it. It sounds a little compulsive to me. CPA need good follow up on this. Thank you lucky stars kid!
