Severna Park Middle School, a National Blue Ribbon School, is located on Jumpers Hole Road and is the feeder school to Severna Park High School. The school was built in 1967; it completed its two-year renovation in 2010. The new building is a nautically themed, state-of-the-art school.
In 2010, the school introduced iTouch technology, which gives students access to content-based applications, including the Internet. A fundraiser titled Mission Possible successfully raised money to equip the new classrooms with SmartBoard technology. The principal is Sharon Morell, and the school's motto is Park Pride.
