Located at the American Legion Post 175 on Manhattan Beach Road, the Severna River Lions Club is an organization committed to serving the community and maintaining a strong network of like-minded people. Members have worked on numerous projects throughout Severna, including pre-school and adult vision screenings, Adopt-a-Highway, handicap ramp construction and Meals on Wheels. The club holds fundraising events which it uses to fund annual scholarships to graduating seniors at Severna Park and Broadneck high schools. In addition, the Severna River Lions Club participates in the Severna Park Assistance Network, which provides food and financial assistance to those in need.
