The Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company (Station 12) serves the Greater Severna Park area and also all of Anne Arundel County. This fire company also rents out its party hall and is home to the annual outdoor carnival in June featuring rides, games and food. The company's annual Santa Runs through Severna Park neighborhoods is a treat for families each December. The Ladies Auxiliary organize the the numerous fundraisers for the station, such as the Bull & Oyster Roast, Shrimp Feast, Bingo, Annual Open House and serves food at the carnival.
