It uses quality, long-lasting (archival) materials to ensure your framed treasure will be preserved. In addition to carrying original watercolors and oils from Severna Park and area artists, Benfield Frame Art Gallery offers portrait commissions in oil, pastel, and charcoal. Wander around the expansive shop and you are likely to find additional surprises. One nook holds "house jewelry" such as switchplates and doorbell covers, while another houses Severna Park stoneware mugs. Unusual items that have been framed include a "hole in one" golf ball and a detective's badge. The store also offers art restoration and appraisals.
