Libby and Jake Knupp are both retired, in their 70s, and currently residing in St. Petersburg, FL. But on Wednesday they were bundled up in coats sitting beside a tent at Chick-fil-A in Severna Park. And they have done that same thing 103 times before, all over the country.

Anne Arundel Police Chief Kevin Davis announced this week that county officers must abide by new cell phone restrictions while in their vehicles, calling it "the right thing to do."

The groups of children traipsing through Severna Park neighborhoods Wednesday morning were not practicing for Halloween. October 9 was International Walk to School Day and hundreds of students from at least 69 Maryland schools participated in the annual event.
 
5. Local Family Raises $46K For Families with Critically Ill Children
A Millersville family raised $46,000 for the Casey Cares Foundation with their annual golf tournament.
