Week Ahead: Dining Out for Worthy Causes, 10K Class, Music on the Trail

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week and there are several events in Severna Park.

Dine Out to Benefit the SPCC
When: Monday
Where: Woodfire
Details: The Severna Park Community Center is participating in Restaurant Rave for the next 12 months. You can join the community center with a night out to dinner and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the SPCC.

Save a Life by Dining Out
When: Tuesday and Thursday 
Where: Tuesday at Brian Boru; Thursday at Ledo 
Details:  During National Suicide Prevention Week local restaurants have agreed to donate a portion of proceeds to Anne Arundel County’s Youth Suicide Awareness Action Team.

10K Class
When: Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Where:  Spark Running
Details: This is a class for people who want to take their running distance up a notch.

Mind On The Run! Suicide Prevention
When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Woods Memorial Church
Details: Dottie Pacharis, author of Mind on the Run, tells the story of her son Scott C. Baker’s tragic 13-year battle with bipolar disorder. 

RISE for Autism Annual Golf Tournament
When: Thursday
Where: Renditions Golf Course in Davidsonville 
Details: Join us for a day of golf, contests, and a silent auction. 

Live Music at the B&A Trail Ranger Station (Free!)
When: Saturday, 10 a.m.
Where: B&A Trail Ranger Station
Details: Bring the family, the lawn chairs, the walking shoes, the bikes, the bug spray, the water bottle and enjoy the B&A Trail with a variety of acoustic tunes performed by Alison Thoms and Josette Jurczak.
