WoodsWorkers to Host Car Wash Saturday

High school students from Severna Park will be washing cars this weekend to raise money for their upcoming Habitat for Humanity mission trip.

 

Is your car covered with pollen or does it just need a wash? Head over to the annual WoodsWorkers car wash fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the main parking lot of .

WoodsWork began 28 years ago when 10 ninth-grade confirmation students of Woods Church wanted to put their faith into action. Today, 120 high school students ages 15 to 18 are building relationships, fellowship and homes with Habitat for Humanity. The car wash will help raise money for their mission trip in June to Union County, NC.

The trip is planned and led by a committee of 14 senior high youth and three adult advisers. The volunteers will construct four homes in five days with the Union County Habitat for Humanity affiliate in North Carolina.
