July Fourth Parade Brings Patriotism to Severna Park

The annual parade was held in the streets of Severna Park on Thursday.

The streets of Severna Park were filled with red, white and blue on Thursday as many gathered for the annual Fourth of July parade.

The day began with a pancake breakfast and concert at the Severna Park Community Center. Then cars, fire engines, bikes and people took over the streets as the annual parade maneuvered through town.

One of the most patriotic moments of the parade came when several Marines marched through carrying flags. Parade goers gave a standing ovation and applauded as the spirit of Independence Day radiated through the 'Park.
