Don’t Miss: End of Summer Bucket List

Here are a few local activities you may want to do before the end of summer.

With the start of school, the changing weather, and other fall happenings it seems the summer is fading.

Well, you still have a few weeks left before the official start of fall on Sept. 22, and Patch has rounded up a few activities you may want to take advantage of before the nice weather ends.

Take a walk or bike ride on the Baltimore Annapolis Trail
Take advantage of one last few weeks of warm temperatures and go for a walk, jog, or bike ride on the Baltimore Annapolis Trail. It wont be too long before outdoor exercise becomes difficult, so throw on your running shoes, grab a friend and enjoy some last-minute outdoor cardio activity.

Enjoy some ice cream
While you can certainly enjoy ice cream any time of the year, it is more appealing in the warmer months. So one night after dinner, head out to Brusters, Froyo House or the Pasadena favorite The Daily Scoop for a final frozen treat before fall.

Dine outside
Eating dinner out on my patio is one of my favorite things to do, especially now that it is cool in the evenings. You too can dine outside if you have a deck or patio. You can also head to a local place that has outdoor seating. Grab a coffee at and sit out back. Or head to happy hour at and sip a beer on their outdoor patio.

Play at Kinder Farm Park
If you have little ones, you can head to for a picnic and play on the playground. The park also offers a hiking and biking trail for those looking to be a little more active. Or you can simply take a book and read outside in one of the picnic areas.
