Two Severna Park High Athletes Named All-Metro

Morgan Torggler and Emma Staisloff earned Baltimore Sun first team All-Metro honors.

Two Severna Park High standout athletes have been named to The Baltimore Sun’s All-Metro first team.

Senior Morgan Torggler was named to the girls lacrosse All-Metro first team and senior Emma Staisloff was recognized for track and field.

According to The Baltimore Sun, Torggler led the Falcons in scoring with 40 goals and 10 assists. The senior is an Under Armour All-American and has signed with the University of Maryland.

Staisloff, who was also a winter All-Metro selection for indoor track, won the pole vault in the 4A state championship meet, The Sun reported.

In addition to Torggler and Staisloff, Severna Park senior Carly Moore was named to the All-Metro softball second team.
