Severna Park Pitcher on IronBirds 2012 Opening Day Roster
Sander Beck is on the roster for the Aberdeen IronBirds' home opener Wednesday at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.
The open the 2012 season Monday night at Hudson Valley, and Severna Park's Sander Beck will be on the roster.
The team won't open the home schedule at until Wednesday.

The roster includes eight players drafted earlier this month. Another 11 players on the roster appeared with the IronBirds last season.
The youngest: 19-year-old outfielder Roderick Bernadina. The oldest: injured 26-year-old pitcher Oscar Melendez.
The tallest: 6-foot-7-inch first baseman Joe Vellegia. The shortest: 5-foot-8-inch pitcher Jose Mota.
The team includes Beck, a rookie pitcher who was a standout player at the and the University of Maryland. Infielders Tom Winegardner and Velleggia also are from Maryland.
