Tulane University announced its signees for the 2013 track and field and cross county programs and a Severna Park grad was among those who signed.

Emma Staisloff, who just wrapped up her senior season at Severna Park High School, will continue her pole-vaulting career at Tulane, according to a release from the school.

After her senior year, Staisloff was named to The Baltimore Sun’s All-Metro team. During the season, Staisloff set a record of 10 feet, 6 inches with her winning performance at the Anne Arundel County championship. She also captured the Maryland State Championship during the outdoor season.
