Severna Park Cross-Country Makes Cameo at Nationals

The Falcons have landed—in Oregon!

Members of the Severna Park boys cross-country team are in Portland for the Nike Nationals, a race bringing together the top high school teams in the country.

After the Falcons won the class 4A title in Maryland for the second consecutive year, the team's performance at NXN Southeast Regionals on Nov. 3 secured a spot at the Nike Nationals on Dec. 7.

Before Saturday's race in Portland, RunnerSpace.com filmed an interview with the Severna Park team.

During the interview, Severna Park senior Dillon Cooley said: "[It's] the last race of the season, last race of senior year for a lot of us, so we just want to go out with a bang."
