Fans will be able to see the Baltimore Ravens take the field in Annapolis on August 4 for the team's second annual public practice at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
“Our players really enjoyed practicing at the Naval Academy last year,” head coach John Harbaugh said in a release. “There was a great turnout from our fans, and the stadium atmosphere was outstanding. Anytime you do something a little different like that, and you have a big crowd like that, it’s a lot of fun. We’re definitely excited about returning to Annapolis.”
The open practice will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday. Gates open at 3:30 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served.
Stadium lots will open at 1 p.m., with cold tailgating available. Parking passes are $10 for cars or $25 for buses and may be purchased in advance online.
The practice is the first of three off-site practices the team is hosting during the preseason, with others at Stevenson University in Owings Mills and M&T Bank Stadium.
One player fans won't see on the field: tight end Dennis Pitta. The starter dislocated a hip during practice last week and will be out for the season, according to BaltimoreRavens.com. The Ravens acted fast, adding Morgan State grad and NFL veteran Visanthe Shiancoe on a one-year deal.
