An estimated 3,000 turned out at the opening day to the baseball season Saturday.
Parents, coaches, family members and hundreds of little league baseball players celebrated opening day on Saturday beginning with the annual parade at in Millersville.
Green Hornets Baseball Commissioner Bill Voelp led the ceremonies surrounded by dozens of teams of little leaguers, all holding banners and ready to get the 2012 baseball season started.
