Former SPHS Softball Standout Named To Ithaca All-Regional Team

Freshman outfielder Paige Briganti now plays softball at Washington College.

Paige Briganti, a former Severna Park High School softball standout, was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Ithaca Region in the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament that she played in with Washington College.

During the tournament, Briganti batted a team-best .538 going 7-for-13  during the team's three games and her seven hits led the Shorewomen, according to Washington College.

Briganti is wrapping up an impressive freshman year at Washington. She also recently earned second team All-Centennial Conference honors in a vote by the conference's head coaches.

This year, the Washington softball team finished the season 27-19. The 27 victories are the most-ever by a Washington College softball squad.

During her career with the Falcons, Briganti was a three-time first-team All-County selection and was named named first-team All-Metro as a senior.
